Hurricane Debby’s track has it passing west to north of St. Augustine. We have placed sandbags in the flood zones and secured the t-hangar doors. The mid-field windsock has also been removed. At this time, our main concern is flooding due to extreme winds, rain, and high tide.  I suggest that all non-essential personnel remain away from the airport tomorrow morning. This will give me time to access the situation and determine if the airport needs to be closed. Currently, the airport is still open. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email Courtney Pittman at 904.423.6141 ckp@sgj-airport.com
